Southeast Asia is one of the poorest regions in the world, with Cambodia and Burma falling in the bottom 5 per cent for economic stability. Poverty, inadequate health services and lack of education remain the most significant areas of concern.

Tailor Made Vietnam is committed to providing education and resources to assist local communities. We have strong relationships with charities and nongovernment organisations, and facilitate students and tour groups to participate in community projects.

Some projects require fundraising, while others simply require time and enthusiasm. In any case, the endeavour is rewarding for everyone – it bridges the cultural divide and gives students an insight into poverty and community development not possible through theory alone.

N.B. A community project or social justice activity is a serious undertaking. Many projects require long hours of strenuous work which students may find challenging, but ultimately very rewarding. Many projects are conducted in remote regions, where conditions are very basic.
